Hi my 16 Months old son has perforated eardrum . We have are giving him medicines as suggested by doctor . I just wanted to check how long does it will take for eardrum to heal ?

He seems to have had acute suppurative otitis media which is a common type of acute Middle ear infection. Usually healing of perforation occurs within couple of weeks. You need to continue treatment suggested by your doctor
