Hi, yesterday i got my child vaccinated in govt hospital. But they did not have pcv vaccine and asked me to get it done outside. Because of penta he has fever and he is uncomfortable. Is pcv really necessary? If yes can i get it done after few days or weeks? How much will it cost?

PCV is an important vaccine that prevents ear infections pneumonias and blood infection, it should certainly be done, in fact the Government of India has started doing this free of cost in certain States including Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, eventually the entire country would be covered but for your child you need to get it done in private sector
