Panic attack or heart attack

I have anxiety problems. I had panic attacks. I have been taking nexito plus for it and I have been fine since the last 5-6 months. Today while exercising suddenly my heart rate kept increasing and it increased too much. I tried to calm myself down and it went down after 10 mins. I kept feeling nauseous and having little chest pain after that. Was it a panic attack that suddenly got triggered? Or was is it a heart attack? I have seen cardiologists and my ecg and echocardiogram are fine. Was I having a heart attack? Kindly clear my doubts.

Hello I understand your condition Given that your ecg and ECHO are normal,  that's a good news that your heart is all OK, you've not suffered a heart attack. Nexito plus should work for your anxiety and panic disorder, if there still are persistent panic attacks we may need to increase the dose and also add some augmenting agent.

Given your history of anxiety and the fact that your previous tests showed no signs of heart issues, it's more likely that what you experienced could be related to anxiety or an exercise-induced response. However, to be absolutely certain and to rule out any serious conditions, it's crucial to consult a medical professional. They can review your medical history, symptoms, and test results to provide an accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.

Since your ECG and Echo were normal, this was definitely not a "heart attack". It was a Panic Attack in all likelihood. Nexito plus is a good drug combination but I don't think it will suffice in your case. You need a beta blocker as well. Please visit your Psychiatrist and tell him/ her about this event and ask him what the further course of action should be.
Next Steps
How long have you taken Nexito Plus? Did you discontinue after a month or two? If yes, then that could be a part of the problem.
Health Tips
In any case, get in touch with your Psychiatrist and let him/ her know about your Panic Attack and seek help.
