Do you often have these panic attacks?
Panic attacks are most often the result of a misinterpretation by you mind of certain normal physical symptoms. Suddenly you become aware that your breathing has grown deeper. Or perhaps something else happens and you suddenly fear you are going to have a panic attack or that you might faint or something. You may notice that this fear of a panic attack is purely imagined, but begins to result in a real panic attack.
Fear is of 2 types = 1) Useful fears, and 2) Useless unreal fearss.
Fear of panic attacks is useless and unreal .... because it is that very fear which may cause it to happen, not any other imagined event.
Yes meditation was a very good response. Also notice when you begin to feel panicky, your breathing goes faster. So thats when you need to practice a controlled breathing, breathing slowly, deeply, happily.
