Pan D VS Pan 40

2025-12-31 11:12:30
I was told Pan-40 is taken before meals and Pan-D after meals. If I miss taking Pan-D before food, is it okay to take it after meals?

You can take it, that's the beauty of taking individual medicines rather than combination medications, you can choose timing.

You should take both these medications before meals. Early morning at 6am or on empty stomach is ideal. Both Pan and Pan D contain Pantaprozole this medicine prevents acid production in stomach, so if you take them after food the medicine will be a little ineffective as the acid production would have been started.
