3 days ago this thing appeared on my tongue. It's bumpy thickened skin on tongue that's white and very painful. Can someone tell me what is this?

Hello difficult to make out from pic.. But yes it can be loss of papillae or may be due to trauma or may be due to vitamin deficiency . Nothing to worry
