Pain source in rct tooth
I have to get a crown for my front tooth- I had RCT done on both twice- even now, the Dentist opened the teeth to check if any cleaning required- all good
But the problem is that on second appointment one of the tooth started paining bad- I have got the medicines, and that is keeping the pain down-
I don't understand when all the nerve has been removed and the doctor, she cannot see any infection while she is using the files - then what exactly is causing the pain? Where is it hidden?
First x ray need to be seen..sometimes intracanal medicaments given gies beyond apex pain starts in 2nd appointment. And accesory canals are there

Hi.
Even after a root canal, pain can still happen because the tissues and ligament around the tooth are still alive and contain nerve endings. Re cleaning or medicines can temporarily irritate these areas, causing pain even when the nerve inside the tooth has been removed.
It is likely temporary post treatment inflammation which should settle gradually.
