Pain on the scalp, back of head

2023-06-01 06:57:22
When i tried to sleep on the back of my head, i found some pain. i checked with my mother, there was no redness or bump on the scalp. But whenever I try to rub the area, there is little pain. If i am not rubbing, no pain is there. I have similar pain in 2 or 3 areas on the scalp, but redness or bumps are there in those spots. I had similar experience last month after i had a massage for headache. But that time little bumps were there and went away after 3 days. Is it something that i have to worry like if there is any issue in the brain?

Could be folliculitis that your mom might have missed. Could be stress related trichodynia. Could be pressure from a helmet or cap that you might have worn for prolonged periods of time. To know what it is, we'd have to evaulate you. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about being brain related.

It may be hair root infection which is folliculitis of scalp common among people with low immunity like diabetic, pre diabetic, under stress etc. You may require anti biotic treatment. Kindly consult.
