This seems to be a hypothetical question. How do you know before running as to where you will get pain and you want to spray in that area. You can't spray all over your body. Secondly the painkiller sprays don't work for hours. They work for few minutes, at the best half hour. And that too if you take rest after applying spray. If you are going to run after the spray the duration of action of spray will be much less.

Don't take painkillers. You can use moov or volini spray or others like ark spray locally after workout incase there's pain.
