Pain in Upper back

My mother is heart Patient, she is on medication related to heart attack. Today recently she is feeling pain in upper back and lot of gastric or indigestion in stomach. Rest no other symptoms is being faced by her. Could it be a possible symptoms of heart attack or normal pain.

As you have written that she is taking medicines for heart attack so in that case symptoms you have described should not be ignored....you should consult a cardiologist.

Hi, since your mother is already a known heart patient and the nature of pain, site of pain you describe it is quite like that it is anginal pain, that is heart related.
