Pain in upper abdomen

Dear Madam/Sir, my wife recently did laparoscopic of gallbladder stone which was successfully removed. But now, after 5 months post laparoscopy, she is facing upper abdomen pains. In the meantime I just gave her nexpro rd40 and drotin D's (for pain) which worked but will you give me suggestions what should I do next.

Dear concerned May I know this pain is same or different prior to her gallbladder surgery. How frequently she is having this.
