How long do you have pain after taking massage? If it is 1 or 2 days after massage then it will settle. Otherwise you have consult a physiotherapist in person or online for complete assessment and treatment.

it is not normal to get pain after massage, but if it is DTFM (deep tissue friction massage), then the pain can be there due to soreness.

No there is nothing like to get pain after massage, which massage have you taken ? There are different types of massages available, it depends on the massage therapist who presses the trigger points to release tension of muscles to get relief. Take an OTC to reduce pain and if the pain doesnt reduces consult back for proper assessment and treatment suggestion.
