Pain in nipples while breast feeding

I have very severe pain in nipple while feeding Today I consulted lactation consultant but i am not very much convinced what she told and she advised to apply T Bact ointment But i am but doubtful about the use of t bact on nipple so pls suggest should i apply or not

It could be faulty latching. Very common cause for pain during feeding. Consult for more information.

T bact is an antibiotic Can be applied Pain is mostly due to cracks Moisturize Well n apply a nipple sheild till it heals
