Pain in lower rib cage

I have been having a sharp pain on my lower rib from past 4 days which is felt specially when I move in some particular position. This was due to an injury that I got during boxing class. I got a hard punch on that position. please advise me if I can get rid of this taking pain killers or I should consult a doctor.

U shud get a chest X-ray done immediately n show to some orthopaedician Regards
