Pain after sitting during pregnancy

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and I am feeling a very sharp pain if I sit for a while in sofa or bed down there near a area between vaginal and anus. The pain is not coming from inside vagina it's from one side left. Is it something serious? During pregnancy are these pains normal. Kindly advise.
