Tenderness persist for few days after treatment. If it is now coming down please contact your dentist.

Please don't bite something hard on that tooth.

If the root canal treated tooth is touching the opposite tooth on biting ask your dentist to relieve the tooth, you may find relief.

Hello. Sometimes post root canal treatment pain may persist for 7-8 days. If your pain is decreasing with each subsequent day, most likely pain will subside soon. However if you feel your pain is increasing or is the same as 1st day of root canal then it's best to visit your dentist soon. Happy to help. Dr Zankhana Mody Mohile
