Pain after gall bladder surgery

My mother had her gall bladder surgery last Dec 2021. Few weeks back she had a very bad pain on her right side in the bladder area. Pain was there for 2 weeks. Any reason why she had this pain. Pls advise.

It may be due to appendicitis but better get an ultrasound abdomen. Then it ell be more clear regarding the issue
