To best of my knowledge there is no convincing medical evidence regarding correlation consumption of high oxalate food and oxalate Nephropathy However there are case reports in the medical literature about consumption of high oxalate food and oxlate nephropathy however consumption patterns in those cases were extraordinary high ,I would like to know your consumption pattern .
But its usually a wise idea to follow low oxalate diet.
dry fruits and nuts are not the only source of oxalates many other foods have them.
Genrally dietary intake of oxalates should be restricted to < 50 mg/day in such patients roughly 10 gms of cashew contains 25mgs almonds have higher oxalate content ,there are guidance charts/guidelines available on the Internet for low oxalate,**please confirm veracity of the source before following any literature on the web**
