I have a buzzing / pulsatile sound in my left ear only. I consulted an ENT: - Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA): Normal - Tympanometry: Normal Since all tests were normal, I was not using any ENT medicines. Recently, I started having hair fall, so a dermatologist prescribed: - Oral Minoxidil 0.25 mg daily After starting oral Minoxidil, my left ear buzzing sound increased. I want to know the actual cause, because oral Minoxidil increased the sound, so maybe you can tell what the reason could be. I do not want to use random tinnitus medicines without knowing the cause. My questions: 1. What could be the cause of pulsatile buzzing when ENT tests are normal? 2. Why oral Minoxidil worsen tinnitus / pulsatile tinnitus? 3.
