Hello doctor, I was diagnosed with OCD and Social Anxiety around 1 year back. My psychiatrist has prescribed Fludac 20 mg in the morning after breakfast and Fluvoxin CR 50 and Lonazep MD 0.25 after dinner. Fluvoxin CR 50 itself is an expensive drug costing around Rs 15 per tablet. Could you recommend an alternate drug with the same effects and composition as Fluvoxin CR 50 but relatively cheaper in price? Would really appreciate the response.

Hi There I think you should talk to your Psychiatrist about the issues of cost. There nothing wrong in that also it's ethically and practically not right to prescribe medication on a portal. Also psychiatry drugs are not available without prescription.  So I would suggest you to re consult.
