Hello, Iam taking OCD medication from nearly 2 weeks and not noticed any change . But iam noticed like iam not getting sex mood much. OCD medication will impact on sex mood ?

Yeah it can ..but it's reversible... Ocd minimum 90 days to you need to take medicines but it varies sometimes according to your symptoms

Commonly SSRI are prescribed for OCD, they take 3-4 weeks to initiate effect. OCD Even with best medicine, response is usually delayed by 6-8 weeks. So better to have concomitant Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) along with OCD tablets would be better. Behavioural interventions like Exposure Response prevention(ERP) also works better. So consult Psychologist for CBT, ERT. Meanwhile continue OCD medicines and Psychiatrist follow up. Regarding OCD medicines and sexual side effects. They do not decrease libido(sexual decrease ), but enhance it. Also these SSRI medicines are also prescribed for Premature Ejaculation since they delay Ejaculation. So OCD medicines does not have any side effects.
