OCD and  thoughts about parents death

Hello , Iam taking OCD medication from 4 weeks but not able to overcome continuous fearful and  anxious thoughts about parents death . After 4 weeks OCD medication also anxious thoughts about parents death is not reduced ? Can you please tell ?
