Doctor said i have severe OCD. MY MAIN ISSUES are concentration and short memory retention and consolidation I'm not able to read which means whenever I read the mind does not fully concentrate on letter as it does not able to change from words into pictures or meaningful information. So iam Nota ble to retain wht i read. I'm taking paroxetine 25 mg and fluvoxamine maleate 25 mg. How long it will take to recover.

Hi What are your ocd symptoms? Since when ARre you on medication? Anxiety and clouded mind can lead to lack of concentration. Well description you provided doesn't show any OCD symptoms however if you really have OCD it may cause difficulty in concentration. If your psychiatrist made diagnosis as OCD then you should stick to his treatment. medication in OCD take 6-8 weeks to start showing effects so you have to wait and take treatment as prescribed. If you doesn't get any effects then reconsider the diagnosis. All the best
