Numbness around left hand small finger

2022-09-05 15:33:24
Last Sunday i had 102.5 f temperature. Due to that i had severe weakness & i was travelling back from Pune to Mumbai that caused me stress in 3 hour long journey. Since then last 8 days my area around little finger of my left hand palm has become numb. My physio therapist explained that it could be due to compression of ulnar nerve. How do I treat this numbness which has suddenly occured? What could be the probable reason for such numbness? Could it be caused due to some vitamin deficiency?

You should take a blood test to rule out the cause for your fever. If everything is normal then you should take a MRI Cervical spine to rule out the root cause of your numbness. You should consult a physiotherapist or orthopaedist in person for complete assessment and treatment.

Need to check with an MRI to rule out nerve compression, deficiency does't give numbness, there might be slight compression of nerve, if it would have been severe it may result in wrist drop. Go for an X-ray or MRI to rule out compression, take IFT+US for 2 weeks to reduce numbness and with exercises it can be healed.
