Numbness after wisdom tooth removal

2021-03-13 17:20:47
I got my wisdom tooth removed and in the process a lot of blood was lost and three anaesthesia injections were given because the tooth was stuck in the nerve. It has been 4 months since the operation, there is numbness left in the whole chin area and there is still pain in the lower front teeth. Is this normal?

4 months is a lot of time for the numbness to sustain. Its due to injury to the Inferior alveolar nerve. So report to the dentist ASAP Regards Dr Akash S Bhandari and Team Toothastu
