My wife is on week 10 of pregnancy and our gynaecologist asked her to take only a NT scan on week 12. Later I got to know from one of my relatives that they had done NT scan along with Double marker test on their week 12.
Is the double marker test needed for us as well ? Which is better NT Scan or double marker ?
The NT scan and the double marker test both are screening tests .the predictability of both tests are different.but the positive predictability of both the tests as combined screening protocols are much better ( almost certain).so better to do both
