My daughter only 4 days old, lost 400 gms of weight when checked yesterday. We submitted a blood sample as well. Small traces of jaundice popped up.

Of their birth weight in 1 st week but gain their weight in 2 nd week Exxagerated loss of weight occurs only when they r not getting enough milk so adequate milk will help Again mild physiological jaundice is common for all babies in first week if weight loss is more again jaundice may increase due to dehydration Your pediatrician will takecare of jaundice management with few test and blood group
