Neurosurgeon or Orthopaed

My mom has severe pain in her thumb for last 6 months... Not able to move it... Not much of swelling though. Could you please suggest if its neurosurgeon case or ortho... Please let me know if more info reqd.

Its pure physio case.  Her mediN nerve js getting conpressed at carpal tunnel ...and she may have problems with her thenar muscles (muscles of thumb region).
Next Steps
just relax.  if u wanna search someone just search a good physiotherapist ..he/she will make ykur mom fine in couple of weeks maximum.

Needs priliminary assessment you can try consulting an orthosurgeon first then followed by neuro. You can also speak to a physio to get guidence also..
