Knee pain for 6 months
I have a severe knee pain for 6 months now and so far the medications haven't helped much. The doctors haven't asked me to do a X-ray or MRI to understand the extent of the damage. Please advise a medication for cartilage repair and what else I can do to get a solution. Thanks

Needs to be examined to come to a proper diagnosis. As pain is longstanding it definitely deserves some sort of investigations to look into.

Since we are on an online platform, I can't guess the severity of pain. Knee pain can be due to various causes related to bone, cartilage, ligaments and other tissues. All cartilage repair drugs are either under experimental or trial stage with no conclusive evidence.
Next Steps
You can change the doctor if you are not satisfied with the current one.
Health Tips
Avoid making a self diagnosis and localising your pain in cartilage.
