Nerve compression

2021-01-10 16:40:09
HI Sir/Madam, I have nerve compression in my back as per reports I got and I have been having mild pain since 1.5 years it was misdiagnosed as stomach pain and now the back pain became worse as I went for jogging unknowingly for continuous 4-5 days. I am getting different sensations when the nerves are being pressed. Doctor told operation is required and I am not considering operation as I am just 28 years old and felt I will rest for some days and see. Please give me advice what can be done.

Hi Yes...your MRI report says that two of the discs in your spine have come out a little bit. If you don't have any major pain and you don't have any weakness in your legs, I will not advise for surgery. Try the following: *Apply hot water bag 10 minutes twice a day *After applying hot water bag, apply Nobel Gel *Tab Ace Proxyvon (1 tablet after lunch and 1 tablet after dinner for 5 days) (if you are not allergic to it and if you are not diabetic) *Tab Gabaneuron (300 mg) (1 tablet at 7 pm for 10 days) *Do Bhujangasana (start with 5 counts per day and slowly increase the number of counts till you reach 40 counts per day) *Avoid sitting on a stool/chair for more than 15 minutes at a stretch. After every 15 minutes, get up for 1 minute and then sit back again. This is very important! *Whenever you sit on a stool/chair sit ahead on the edge of the chair/stool...this way you will automatically sit straight. Don't sit behund and try to get back support...you will involuntarily bend your spine and increase your back problem. *Don't bend forward with your knees straight. Bend your knees and then bend forward. *Avoid sitting on soft sofas. *Avoid riding bike/car as much as possible until your pain subsides.
Next Steps
Try the above steps and do let me know if you have pain relief after 1 week.
