Need to have surgery
My power is about -9.5 on both eyes stable for 4 years . Doctor suggested that SMILE or LASIK can be done after some tests. I have to work 9hes in computer and preparing for competitive exam also. Can i take Operation between this . I cannot drive two wheelers in midnight due to scattering of light. My manager told already one guy had failure in LASIK and his career is gone. what would i do know my eyes also beginning to dry.

At a power of 9.5 ,FemtoLasik may or may not be an option depending on your corneal topography which can be assessed after taking the test else an ICL procedure is a very safe and good option for you and may need a few days Of recovery.. I advise you to go to a competent surgeon and have the assessment done..

The numbers are slightly on the higher side .if all tests are good, u may consider Lasik, else other options like ICL may be better for you, especially if you have night time driving and all.
Take your time, let then do dry eye evaluation also which is a part of Lasik evaluation. If in doubt , you can also take a second opinion to feel at ease with the advice and procedure.
