Your mother is having fracture neck of femur, for that age if she is medically fit for surgery, surgical intervention is only mode of treatment. For this age group she requires definitive treatment by single operation only , so surgical fixation by plates and will not try . She neen HEMIARTHOPLASTY. In hemiarthoplasty two types of implant available. FIXED one MODULAR .
