The treatment for the same revolves around activity modification, neck exercises, medications and treatment of bone weakness and low
vitamin D. As far as activity modification is involved, try not to sit in front of the PC for more than half an hour at a stretch. Moreover whenever you sit on the PC try to keep the screen at eye level. As far as neck exercises are concerned learn isometric neck exercises from a physiotherapist and do them 20 minutes 3 times a day. Get the following blood tests fasting: Hb, TLC, DLC, ESR,
calcium, phosphorus,
Alkaline phosphatase, vitamin D levels, pth,
uric acid along with x rays cervical spine AP and Lateral views. In the meantime start the following drugs: Tab Zinase D twice a day after meals, Tab Neksium 40 mgs once a day before breakfast both for 2 weeks, Tab Corcium k2 one a day in the evening for 6 weeks. Make sure you are not allowed to any of the above medications before starting them. Revert back with investigation reports.
