Should I be worried about my myopia of -3.0 Diopters in both eyes as i read online that It leads to increase in the risk of diseases like myopic maculopathy, retinal detachment, cataract and glucoma. And, can i decrease my axial length with proper diet and exercise.

At this age you cannot decrease your axial length and usually after this age number don’t increase. Do better to take precautions like take antioxidants, green vegetables , use anti glare glasses while using screen and regular eye examination.

Now that you are aware of all these conditions,  it is advisable that you visit your ophthalmologist annually and get them ruled out. You can reduce screen time,  consume lots of Green leafy vegetables, carrot, papaya, orange, fish, milk
