My tooth is paining since 4 days. Not sure why. I think food is stuck there and so I tried flossing. But flossing is causing bleeding. How can I stop the pain?

Sometimes cavity is hidden and not visible from above (proximal decay). Get an x-ray done. If pain is severe and sensitivity also, RCT will be required.

Please visit your dentist and get the required treatment done.   You might require scaling and polishing. It all depends on your diagnosis as to what should be done

If your using floss or tooth pick to remove food loadged in between the teeth..Than it's food impaction. It might be due to loss of contact between teeth due to caries,or # proximal wall, plunger cusp ,or some times adjacent to unreplaced missing teeth.Bleeding and pain are generally associated with this problem.periodontal pickets are also present ...Better visit Dentist and take x- ray...To find out correct cause.
