I observed that one of my teeth has slid downwards, as if it is pulled down.
I am not sure why this has happened.

It looks like you may have periodontal issues... It may be due to deposits which cause erosion of bone and loosen your teeth or infection of that particular teeth may cause abcess at the apex of your teeth... Thorough clinical and radiological examination is necessary to rule out the cause

hello mam, a proper dental checkup is requied to know the cause of your problem. because there may be some periodontal issue or any history of trauma to your tooth.
That is pathological migration that is tooth shifted from its position due to some irritant like deposits of calculus or from trauma. Scaling is needed and may be an xray if calculus is not the reason.
Maybe due to bone loss either with calculus ( deposits) which damaged the bone , any history of hit on the tooth or genetic bone loss. X ray& clinical examination will help you to fix the problem
