I am 25 Male. My bones feel weak. I did a Dexa scan and it showed low bone density (-1.6) Doctor prescribed calcium supplements. Will it get back to normal bone density? How much time will it take?

Do regular impact creating exercises and muscle strengthening...Then only the supplements will work.. Check Serum calcium, phosphate, ALP, PTH and vit D levels.. take supplements accordingly..

DEXA range below -1 is osteopenia. Get checked your vit-d  levels. Better to use Calcium+ vitd supplements. Engage in mild to moderate physical activities, sun exposure. It takes around 3-6 months .
