A baby that feeds adequately will sleep for 2-3 hours after feeding, will pass urine atleast 6-8 times /24 hours and will have a steady weight gain of ~25-30 grams /day. Usually If your baby is active and has adequate urine output, it is safe to assume that your baby is getting adequate feeds.
