He is having loose motion 9-10 times a day from past 10 days. The potty color is green, sometime watery sometime loose & only mucus is there. His pediatrician advice not to give milk and some infection is there. He has lost 500 GM's in last one week. Severe rashes around potty area. Please advise

Please get his stool checked to rule out bacterial infection. If it is viral, it will decrease on it own. In the meanwhile, give plenty of fluids. Avoid milk and juices. Also apply a zinc oxide ointment or coconut oil on the rashes
