Multiple lumps in left breast

I feel multiple lumps in my left breast. They feel rubbery and sometimes firm. There is mild pain, and repeated touching or pressure increases the pain. I also notice more discomfort before my periods. Kindly explain and suggest.

In young women, breasts respond to cyclical hormonal changes and can get painful before periods. Please visit a Gynaecologist for examination who can suggest a breast ultrasound as well.
