The management of MNG depends on your symptoms... Over time usually MNG enlarges and can cause toxic high levels of thyroid or may cause pressure symptoms or may cause cosmetically unsightly appearance. For complicated MNG thyroidectomy needs to be done. Kindly consult with your treating doctor for the same. Some can be managed without surgery in the early phases of MNG.
