Hello, i m taking mukta vati tablet for bp(150/90) since 6 months on doctr advice, on tv and news paper it is showing its banned, can i know why is it banned, is it true, shal i take it or not?

High blood pressure is a symptom of some underlying disease. You need to know the root cause of what is causing your blood pressure to rise and then take steps to eradicate the root cause. Just symptomatic treatment is not the way out.

It's banned because of the misleading advertisement.. The problem is not with the medicine.. you can continue having it but with the advice of the doctor because I have seen people having it along with modern anti hypertensive medicines going through adverse effects like low blood pressure etc.. so be concious
