Mucocele is caused usually by lip bite and arises due to injury and blockage of minor salivary glands. It can be removed under local anaesthesia with conventional surgery or LASER. LASER as a surgical tool is painless, bloodless and many times stitchless. If not removed completely, it can reoccur. It's a delicate but painless and a short surgery

Mucocele has to be excised surgically usually under local anesthesia. Its a small surgery and recovery time is not much. The cost depends on the size/location/difficulty in removing the lesion.
