At your age this is definitely an issue. Disc bulges in neck are compressing on the nerves. What are your symptoms at present. Are you taking any physio.
Next Steps
Use collar. Start physio. Avoid weight on shoulders and back. Avoid sudden neck movements. Use ergonomic chair for work. Consult spine specialist if no relief.
Health Tips
We run a clinic where we treat spine disc problems without surgery. We have a centre in benaluru.

Reports shows c5-c6 narrowing. Depending upon the severity of symptoms further treatment can be planned. The severity of symptoms may vary with the reports. So getting examined thoroughly first is always best.
Next Steps
Get thoroughly examined by a spine surgeon.
Health Tips
Be aware of the red flags such as 1. Weakness 2. Numbness over hand and arm 3. Increased pain. 4. Unable to balance on standing on one leg while closing eyes

Based on the MRI report, your cousin has multilevel degenerative disc disease involving both the cervical and lumbar spine. * Cervical spine: Mild canal stenosis at C4–C5 and C5–C6 with disc protrusions causing mild narrowing of the nerve exit canals, but the spinal cord is normal and there is no significant cord compression. * Lumbar spine: Diffuse disc bulges at L4–L5 and L5–S1 causing compression of the thecal sac, which may explain symptoms such as low back pain or pain radiating to the legs.
Next Steps
Please consult a Spine/Orthopaedic surgeon with the MRI images (not just the report) for a detailed clinical evaluation. If your cousin has neck pain, arm pain, back pain, or leg pain, treatment can often be started with medications, physiotherapy, and activity modification. You can also book an online consultation with me and share the MRI images along with the symptoms so I can advise whether conservative treatment is sufficient or if any intervention is required.
Health Tips
If your cousin develops progressive weakness in the arms or legs, difficulty walking, loss of hand function, or loss of bladder/bowel control, seek immediate medical attention, as these symptoms require urgent evaluation.
