According to the history that you have provided it seems she may be having  mild cognitive impairment (MCI) But with only this much we won't be able to confirm the diagnosis. And there are many causes of MCI. We would even have to rule out whether the dysfunction is so much to be called dementia or not. For all these she needs to be assessed in detail. Even to tell whether there is thiamine deficiency or not we would have to do blood test. If there is no deficiency and you give thiamine her condition will not improve. Hence take her to some clinic or hospital and get her assessed by a psychiatrist or neurologist.
