Hello,
I can see that you are feeling hopeless and unhappy, it sure must be very tiring and frustrating.
Since when have you been feeling this way?
Has the intensity increased/decreased/fluctuates with time?
Was there an particular event post which you have been feeling this way?
These are some question you may need to think about.
Next Steps
There may be a need for you to consult a psychologist face to face. Which city or town are you residing in?
Ideally, finding a counselling centre or a psychologist may be ideal. However, if that is difficult, then try approaching a family doctor or GP in your area and ask them for a reference of a psychiatrist or psychologist. Unfortunately, the number of psychiatrists is more than psychologists in our country. Through the psychiatrist, you could then get referred to a psychologist.
A few things you can do to help yourself -
1. Look at the usual schedule you follow in the day - food and sleep may need to be regularised, also look at the activities you do, and how pleasurable they are.
2. Make a list of things you find pleasurable or give you happiness. Start doing one activity in a week. (eg. Meeting friends, drawing, colouring, singing, cooking, etc.)
3. Start some form of physical exercise. At least 15-20 a day. If in the beginning it's difficult to do it everyday, then aim for thrice a week.
4. Reach out to family and friends or if that is not possible then join some class or group activity, where you can meet new people.
Health Tips
Go with an open mind.
While selecting a psychiatrist/psychologist look at their credentials and reviews from people who have visited them.
Ask your doubts and share your concerns with the mental health professional. Try to be as honest as possible, but take your time.
