Missed Period after HSG

I have a very regular cycle. I have never experienced delay or missed period in the past. I took HSG last month and missed my period this month. I am 15 days passed my expected period date. My pregnancy test was negative. Doctor prescribed Duphaston free which I got my periods. But what caused the missed period especially when I have never experienced it in the past.
