I had braces for almost 2 years and then I used retainers for one year.But after a year my one teeth got misaligned .I even consulted my ortho for the same he asked me to put a removable wire for almost 8 months but nothing works.

Hi. U should go for the option of fixed retainer after the completion of your orthodontic treatment. Removable retainer is not as good as fixed retainer. U can discuss with your orthodontist about the fixed retainer.
