Minor head injury from fall
My mother had a fall day before yesterday and got slight injury in forehead, after 2 days today she developed black patches beneath her both eyes.
Apart from that she is normal, slight pain in the forehead near the injury nothing else, no vokiting or fluids from nose or ear.
If she lost consciousness at that time of the fall or was on blood thinning medication, she will need a c t scan of the head to rule out a bleed inside the brain. But the fact that she has remained well over the last couple of days means she will not have a major issue. The bruising and swelling around the eyes will settle over about ten days to 2 weeks.
