I got my eye checked for headache and doctor told mild myopia of -0.50 . Can it be the cause of my headache ?

This number usually do not cause much headache..unless if u r doing very near work professionally or watching too much screen. Rule out other causes like dry eyes, migraine, sinusitis.

Yes, it could be a cause for your headache. You should wear it because small number create more strain on eyes and headache. There could be other reasons, common among them is sinus headache (esp in winters). So please stick to your doctor, you will be guided properly.
